“An authentic, 1944 U.S. Army 4cyl, Willys MB Jeep, VIN#
MB 383450 with just over 26,000 original miles. It is completely operational with many accessories, including the top, spare, tools and implements. We have brought the jeep up to approximately 90-95% operation and appearance. This jeep is show worthy but runs a little rough, determined to be a minor problem by my mechanic. The driver\’s seat was extended with a kit for steering wheel and leg comfort. I can also provide to a serious buyer all that was invested in the restoration.
We are selling this Willys MB because, we were unable to get any Kentucky grant funding for acquisition and the full restoration; Our personal investment had reached its limit.”
This jeep was in the Aviation Museum of Kentucky in Lexington I went to take a look. The seats are a light color. I was not allowed to get in or open the hood.
Next time just explain you are doing research for eWillys. I’m SURE they’d let you poke around … lol … 🙂
