UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1900.
Nick’s selling this running CJ-2A.
“For sale is a 1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep. This is a great running and driving Jeep for cruising through the trails. I’ve done a ton of work to this vehicle as highlighted below:
-Installed correct engine
-Installed verified good clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch fork
-New battery
-New wiring
-Steering box install and new gasket
-Good rims and tires
-Oil change
-Correct GL-1 tranny oil
-New fuel pump & lines
The engine starts right up and runs at 50 lbs. of oil pressure. It has a noise at idle, may need a valve job. It does not smoke at all. Oil, speedo, and temp gauge work well. Rims are original paint Golden Eagle CJ5 with decent tires on them. Jeep needs brakes and a gas tank, I’ve been driving it on my boat motor tank. Frame horns have been repaired. I’ve crawled all under the Jeep during the engine install and the frame is nice and solid.
Tranny shifts well through all gears. 2WD/4WD work but you can see in the pictures the passenger side lockout hub needs to be either removed or completed (I have the pieces but never put it on). Could use a new exhaust manifold but I liked it loud. I have a spare engine with a manifold, and another chassis that could be thrown in for a deal. You can see that on my other ad.”
This is pretty cool and interesting: no tailgate, no toolbox under missing passenger seat, HAS a unique glove box, and a heater, but no oil filter nor air filter. Definitely worth checking out 🙂
Thanks Joe! Runs like a champ. Price drop to $1900
