Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “64 Willys Parkway, 318 engine, 4 wheel drive, overdrive, pto operated winch, everything runs great, and is mostly original, came off Roswell Airforce Base, NM, in the late 60’s early 70’s, SW car until 2014, clear title……would like to trade for FC 170 dump, either flatbed or standard bed. Sell price $10,000, but prefer trade first”

FWIW, It was Roswell Army Air Field until 47, Roswell AFB from 47-48, then Walker AFB from 48 until the base closed in 1967.
