Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Up for your consideration is this Vintage Original WILLYS Tierra Del Sol San Diego JEEP Four Wheel Drive CLUB Porcelain SIGN 9″ . This great sign was found from a recent estate and dates around the late 60’s. It is made of metal with a porcelain finish. It measures 9″ in diameter. Has some light wear around the edges. Colors are still bright. Please view all photo’s as they are a part of the description. Will be packed with care for shipment.”

“95 percent or more restored. Matching numbers clean title. No rust. Garage kept. Obtained from military museum. Runs great all new brakes. New seat covers. Will send pictures if required. Only problem is gas tank has leak and could use new tires. Really really cleanf”

“1950 CJ3-A Willys 4whl. dr. original style, 4 cyl. flathead motor, good oil pressure, new radiator, 5 new Firestone military tires, new original style canvass seats, 4 new shocks, all new front bearings, frt. stabilizer, and new steering box tensioner. Flat marine green, bikini top, and best brand soft top with bows in fair shape, side curtains. Looks nice but is not restored, fully restored they are $10,000 on up in price. Wheels sandblasted and inner wheel painted with rubber paint. Windshield frame also snadblasted and primed, painted. I’ll throw in the tow bar, local pick up only…………..”

“Up for sale is a 1953 jeep willys cj3a. Runs and moves under it’s own power. has flat 4 cylinder with a 3 speed manual transmission with 4 wheel drive. Great restoration project or do a little work on it and drive it as is. it’s non op so no back fees. No windshield. has some rust.’

(09/20/2016) Powered by an f-head. Has an unusual locking mechanism for the PTO.
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep with a 1953 F4-134 willys Hurricane motor that runs awesome and has a bit more power than the original flat head. Fires right up instantly when you hit the key.
Selling because of health reasons. New carburetor, Clutch is good, New floor pans front welded in, New hat channels under the front, all welded sheet metal steel on the lower sides were rusted. the rust is all gone. Cut it all out completely and wire welded in new sheet metal. it still needs some finish sanding to be nice. it is solid now. frame is solid and has what looks like aftermarket springs for about a 2 inch lift at some point. “1948 Willys CJ2A project.
The original 1948 Willys body is all there except for 2 or 3 footman loops. Striped of paint. Any repairs were made with metal. Has minor dings or small dents and surface rust. Floor modified with new PTO opening to accommodate the overdrive PTO combination. See photos.
The chassis as pictured is like new. Every thing was restored or rebuilt to new condition.The frame is an OEM replacement frame. All new brake system. Rebuilt engine. All new transmission parts. Transfercase has new seals, bearing and gaskets. Warn overdrive rebuilt by Herm, Koenig model 58 dual output PTO. Rear PTO and front Rhino winch. NOS Selectro locking hubs. New tires.
Novi governor and handle, needs pulley and carburettor linkage
Includes old used parts.
Major parts needed to complete the project are; Radiator, Carburettor, Wiring Harness, Paint.
