“Original California 1946 Willys CJ2A jeep, has fresh rebuilt engine and new gas tank in the last 3 months. Very complete and not hacked up. All lights,gauges,horn,heater,4 wheel drive and Hi/Lo range work. Has complete top with doors. Nice stock Willys.”
1800 miles closer and my wife would be pissed as I type this, lol
What’s the red plate to the left of the data plates?
Shouldnt a 46 have three plates on the dash?
Something is weird here. Wonder what else is hidden
Dan: Good question. I don’t recognize the plate. I need a better photo. I will try emailing the seller to see if I can get a better photo.
46 Chaser: ’46s had 3 plates up until around Serial # 46xxx. After that there was a single plate. Since this jeep’s serial number is #49xxx, the single plate should be correct. This page is a good resource for that info: http://www.cj-2a.com/oldsite/marks/dataplates/survey/

Dan,
It’s a Warn hub sticker. It turns out the owner is an eWillys reader.

Thanks Dave. Maybe it’s similar to this: http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/EGoAAOxyOMdS-riE/s-l300.jpg
Good luck to the seller. Nice CJ!
Very well could be that sticker.
