Hard to see much. Something is hanging of the driver’s side where the rear bow holder should be. I don’t see the data plate on the dash.
“this is a 1947 Willys jeep. cj2a all original. the jeep was purchased in Carlsbad new mexico out of an add in a magazine. it was deliverd by rail and was dropped off in a crate with 0 miles. the owner only used it for hunting on his property. curantly the jeep has only 9,000 original milesit has been sitting for some years now. needs to be brought back to life, tires, a few gaskets….”
How could the owner have used it for hunting and still have 0 miles on it.?
I think the seller means that it was dropped off in Cali with zero miles and the new owner there only used it for hunting … at least that is my interpretation.
Could be a nice Jeep, but unless the owner takes it out from under the mess on it, and posts some real photos, it’ll be hard to make any conclusive judgements. Still, glad to see these are still around in someone’s garage waiting to be discovered.
