This is the same MB that sold at auction for $10,500 last month.
“This is a very nice, really well kept, maintained, cared for original and authentic Willys WWII Military MB Jeep. As you can see by the pictures, it is really nice. Tires are very good!!! The paint is all good, and believed that at least the hood is of ORIGINAL paint…….interior is good. DOES COME WITH CANVAS TOP IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AS WELL!!! Rare find. The only modification that we can tell is that it has been converted to a 12 volt system, with key ignition. Other than that…………very original! Great vehicle for parades, nostalgia, etc…………$22,400/offer”
Not all original. Color looks too dark to me. Doubt hood is original paint. The hood numbers are not correct. Post war rims, at least two gauges not correct, wrong oil filter bracket and fuel pump. Fuel line from filter not routed correctly. No correct horn.
Too many thing wrong for that price…….
Amazing. I inspected this at the original auction. Inspection indicated did not run (has not for many years), non-matching numbers, electrical/spark no-op, fuel deliver non-op, sedimet filled tank, aftermarket offshore replica body, repro dash plates with no numbers, incorrect rims, incorrect gauges and much more. Frame had been reparied. The reserve was $5000. Seller really surprised at final price – only 2 bidders that got in to a little duel. Buyer beware. Looks like a quick flip for unsuspecting buyer.
Thanks for the notes Robert!
Seller advertising all original parts – including original paint, star, numbers on hood, gauges, rims, etc. This is not accurate. I agree with a previous post “we all want to make money, but this is sad”.
