UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Doesn’t run at the moment, but could be a great price. It includes an overdrive.
“1949 Willys CJ3a with an early 60’s Buick oddfire V-6 conversion. Recently rebuilt T-90 transmission with warn overdrive and model 18 transfer case. Last year the master cylinder developed a leak and it has been sitting since. Ran fine but battery is completely dead. Do not have the time to get it driveable again.”
Does anyone know who made that dual can/tire carrier? I have seen several and have one on my 3A. Just curious.
I *think* I saw this model for sale in an old four wheeler magazine from the late 1960s. I’ll see if I can find it again later today.

I have identified that as a Kayline tire carrier offered as of August 1973 called the TCC Universal. Thanks to you, I’ll be publishing a post tomorrow covering several different tire carriers (with pics) that were available in the late 1960s and early 1970s. 🙂
I agree, Kayline. I had one on a 74 CJ-5. It worked well. I still have the CJ, but not the carrier.
I need another cj3. How do I get in touch with owner/seller?
Ken
Hi Ken,
It looks like the seller deleted this from Craigslist, so it must have sold. I’ve updated the post.
