“We are open to buy or trade offers, even though we have lowered the price significantly below our investment into this project Willys wagon.

We purchased this Willys about seven years ago to do a full restoration in our restoration shop. We have never had time to get to it with all our other projects. It is in such nice restorable condition we would love to do the complete restoration, but are not going to get time to do it now that we are trying to retire and have key personnel shortage due to health issues.

This is a Willys Wagon in which the previous owner had started restoration. Many extra parts were accumulated and go with it, in the thousands of dollars value. I have seriously considered selling the vehicle parted out along with the massive amount of extra parts on ebay as it would be substantially more return, but have not done so yet as it would take so much time which is very limited for us.

This ’61 Willys Wagon has the best body of any one we ever looked at. The body work restoration is going to be a piece of cake on this one. All it needs is partial panels around rear wheel openings. We could even give a bid to the buyer for doing this work. Then the restoration will be easy for a lightly skilled person even as a daddy/son or daddy/daughter project.

I’m pretty sure the prior owner told me the Hurricane 6 engine had been freshly overhauled, but honestly I cannot remember for certain, though it looks as it could be.
