UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
“1959 Willys Maverick Wagon. Fairly rare 2wd Maverick wagon. Very solid and straight body which has been in the desert all it’s life. No engine but originally had the “F” head 4 cyl which was removed for a rebuild and lost but an easy engine to find if you want to go back to original. Has not been driven in over 30 years. Only rust is in the front floors due to the floor mat retaining moisture but other than that you will have a hard time finding a more solid wagon than this one. Interior is shot due from being exposed to the desert sun over the years. Has the straight axle/ leaf springs up front so if you wanted to convert it to 4wd it would be easy. It will make a great restoration, rat rod or custom project. $2500 Don’t contact helping to sell it- not interested. It’s a project and will need to be towed. Call and leave your # if your interested and I’ll return your call as soon as I can.”
I though the Maverick came only in red color.
Is it really a Maverick? The trim is for a wagon.
I can’t say for sure. Could have been repainted? I would love to get some concrete specs for Mavericks.
Here is the only info that i have on it. It’s a saleflyers.

Mavericks did come in other colors.
I thought Mavericks had the exterior extra band of horizontal chrome trim as well as the interior mesh-like panel surrounding the speedometer. This wagon has both. Did the regular 2wd wagons have that?
