Jeeps in the Wild

Yesterday, while driving through East Wenatchee, Washington, I spotted this unusual looking flattie. I only had my cell phone, so the pic isn’t the best (and had to brave traffic just to get this photo — only got honked at once) 🙂 Based on what I could see from a slightly different angle (which I couldn’t photograph), I think it is a jeep body on a truck chassis:

This snow plow jeep is still parked in the same spot we saw it in 2013:

A couple days ago I saw this nice CJ-3B in Pasco.

I really like the title, “Jeeps in the Wild.” That would make an interesting sub-website. I’m sure everyone has at least one favorite photo to contribute to “Jeeps in the Wild.”

You are a good influence for your bride, Chris. lol.

No photo is worth dodging traffic. Don’t let mom read about that one. I’ll scold you for her. lol. Wait, I’m serious. Be safe out there. (Two weeks ago I was 15′ from being killed by a speeding full sized 15″ boat trailer tire, at 70 mph plus. It came off come guy’s trailer.) My message is to just don’t take chances around roadways. There are a lot of unexpected things that happen out there.

I didn’t take much of a risk. I’m sure glad you survived your near accident! I prefer not to drive behind towed vehicles (like boats, cars, etc) or trucks with stuff piled in their beds. You just never know when people haven’t done their due diligence when hooking/loading their stuff.
