UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/11/2015) It’s a project, but there looks to be some value here.
“1961 CJ5 Willys Jeep. This jeep is a project that is almost done. It has been sitting for a few years and I need to get rid of it. It has a number of modifications. It has a rebuilt Chevy 4.3L with no miles on it. Used turbo 350 transmission. 205 transfer case. International front and rear end with 370 gears. Almost new 33×12.50 tires with aluminum wheels. Replaced the leaf springs and has a lift. Custom bumpers and a luggage rack on the back. Needs: wiring harness, radiator, alternator, steering box, seats, soft top. It’s a project so you can take it as far as you want. I have a hard top that I got off a mail jeep but needs some modifications to make it work. Must be hauled away. Please don’t call if you just want to talk about jeeps. ”
A. 1961 = winner
B. Deep mags = awesome
C. Athol = who you calling an “athol”?
$2250 is def in the right ball park. I like this one 🙂
Joe, I’m 15 min from this if you want me to look at it for you. And don’t worry Joe, you’re not in Athol! Actually, the new highway bypasses this town. Sooo…nobody is in Athol unless you take the offramp, then you’re “in Athol”! (but um bump!) (drum sound for a joke) (ok, I’ll stop) (but it’s funny as heck) (my kids love it) (even my brother likes it) (ok, stopping now) (teeheehee) (that’s me laughing) (really stopping now)
Oh todd, I don’t want you coming off as an athol. 😉 it has been for sale for a while. I must have looked at it ten times hoping to find correct fenders but they have the side marker light indent.
LMAO 😀
No need to check it out for me… I may want it but have too many projects already ;-(
I like the rims … don’t know what it is about me and those classic 70s/80s rims.
That top is a cut down (cut up?) DJ5 top. It still has the front door closure plate in place.
