(06/20/2016) Has the wrong windshield.

Anybody have comments on this one? I am lokking for a CJ2A or 3A, less than $5000, decent shape.

I don’t see any obvious rust. The damage to the passenger side suggests that the owner hasn’t bothered to fix the tub, so there may not be any bondo. Also, given the placement of the dents, I can’t help but wonder if it was flopped on its side at some point (given it has the incorrect windshield, the correct 3A windshield could have gotten damaged during such a flop). That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but when looking at this in person I would check to make sure the frame rails are straight (look for straightness along the frame bends in the engine compartment.
All that aside, it appears to be relatively rust free and original. There *might* be some rust along that passenger side below the entry way. It doesn’t look smooth, but hard to tell for sure without seeing it in person.
I think it is worth a look if you aren’t too far away (otherwise ask for more pics, especially of the passenger side, before driving out there)
