Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has a Toyota engine and lots of surface rust.

“1958 Jeep DJ-3A. This is a left hand steer, two wheel drive variant of the flat fender CJ-3A . It looks the same but is much easier and less expensive to restore than it’s four wheel drive brothers. It currently has a Toyota 20R motor and 4 speed transmission, it’s not running so I don’t know the condition of these items. Mounts and adapters are readily available to install any engine and transmission that you’d like (I have a Chevy 4.3 V6 that you could negoiate me out of). The old gal is a bit ruff but completly restorable. Tow bar included, tows smooth and easy.”
