UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.

“NICE SOLID JEEP, HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO 12 VOLT HAS BEEN INSIDE MOST OF IT’S LIFE, NEEDS REAR BRAKES, GAS TANK PUT BACK IN AND SOME NICE PERSON STOLE THE SEATS, ONLY 33 K MILES SHOWING, ONE ALL PRETTY SOLD FOR OVER 20 K IN NEW HAMPSHIRE LAST YEAR, I”M NOT GOING GET IT BACK TOGETHER, WANT A COOL JEEP THAT YOU DON’T SEE EVERYDAY GIVE ME A CALL”
Don’t see them with the hard top much
That’s what I thought as well. Could this be a home made top?
That looks to be a factory Metro Engineering “Artic Top”. The construction and the rear vent opening look correct. I don’t know if it was made for the M-170, or converted from a M38A1 top. Doors look to be plywood with piano hinges, which may be an original modification. They are many detailed conversations on the plywood door theory.
Looks like the seller has a small fortune in steel tractor wheels, very collectible for yard art and tractor restoration!
Does look like it was stretched a bit in the middle, and the plywood doors as well.
Is it still available?
Hi Bruce,
It appears to be. Contact the seller via craigslist.
