UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
Runs, but needs some work.
“1942 Ford Military Jeep. This jeep was purchased by my family right after World War II. We have owned it for over 70 years. It has a flat head Ford 4 cylinder. The Jeep has always resided in Central California. It runs but will need the brakes to be looked at. The brakes worked fine but the Jeep sat for a few years and now they are not working. Should be something simple. It is all original and has minor surface rust. My plan was to restore it but life has changed and I want it to go to someone who will restore it and get some good use out of it such as military parades or whatever interests the jeep brings. Currently I have the Jeep at a friend’s shop in Visalia. If you want to view it call or text me and I will make arrangements for viewing.”
Looks pretty complete
Worth the asking price? I’m close and really thinking in it.
It might be. It will still be a project, but, as Bob noted, it looks pretty complete. The fact it runs is good.
So who wants to tell my wife I need this in my garage next the FC, this website costs me a lot of money. This seriously is a buck list jeep for me.
So what I hear you saying is that if I show up at your doorstep someday I shouldn’t admit to your wife that I run this website? 🙂
Is that a hand crank winch?
I”m not real sure, but I don’t see anything else driving it.
Now on eBay.
