Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 Jeep Willys for sale with a rebuilt engine and new clutch.
Fiberglass body with new ragtop.
Brand new tires.
Runs and drives great.
It doesn’t have a lot of top speed because of the low gear ratio.
These jeeps were geared very low for the military. Top speed is probably about 50 mph.

“Cj2a farm version with rear pto and belt pulley adaptor. Two sets of tires. Mud doers and snow tires mounted on rims. Rebuilt transmission and rebuilt seats. Runs good.”
