It’s still a project. An M-38 body has been put on a later model CJ-5 chassis.

“I bought a jeep project to learn rebuilding by. The people was to be involved to help is not here any more so I’m letting it go for a super price and will have to buy one much smaller. I only work with clear titles IN MY NAME and not like others that sell by bill of sales or in other people’s names. The amount of items not installed on it yet is in boxes and are new. The list is vast and it has had a lot done to it and very recent. Everything works on it and is ready to be inspected, lights, horn, 4×4 stick, etc.
It is a 1974 with a M38 military style body and receipt papers that shows price, part numbers and was ordered.
It came with vacuum wipers that didn’t work and I have had installed 2 new electric ones that work perfectly.
Dana 44 rear end, bikini top, electric cooling fan, New Carter carburetor, Rhino lined interior, 2 wind shield latches, Sealed tail lights as well as front blinkers and 2 bush lights on the front bumper. New $400 front bumper, new grease fittings on suspension and, low mileage on South bend Clutch, papers showing the price I gave for the jeep, Aluminum deep wheels, full gauges that all work, new console in box, new side mirrors in box, new windshield rubber that goes between the body and windshield frame in the box, low mileage on the rebuilt straight 6, new license plate light, new solenoid, re built up newer style alternator, new complete wiring harness and is installed, Rancho super lift kit installed, black with removable camouflage wrap, one seat has a slight tear other is good, new extra gas tank in box that is larger than one on it, have hinges-latches-and handle that I was going to build bush tubing doors, remember to look at the pictures and it has a bikini top only, new front end steering damper shocks, heavy welded bumper that came with it also, new very heavy duty tire swing arm that needs a spindle to mount on the bumper (look a the picture at it) with tire mount and hardware.
I gave $4500 for it, $400 for the front bumper, $50 for the mirrors, $45 for the windshield rubber, $150 for the gas tank, $75 for the latches-catches and handle, $350 for used tires, $70 for electric wipers, and will look for other parts if I have not mentioned any. I’ve paid for work done on it which I can’t recover. Remember all it needs is inspected because everything has been wired, tested and is ready with a CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME and is all standard. Was made for country fun but is now will be street legal after inspection.
After this weekend I’ll be putting it state wide so a reasonable price will make it sell quick. Call, text, or email. First good deal takes it all for the fun summer. Asking $6,000 will take first reasonable offer. Four wheelers are higher and this one is street legal, Think! “
