Buying Tips
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This appears to be a factory Meyers Hardtop, is the middle side window an option or owner modification. I have seen the tops both ways.

By the mid 1960s Meyer was offering the M-III deluxe top on the CJ-5 and CJ-6s. Standard equipment included a headliner, dome light, and rear windows. Though listed as the same model, the CJ-6 version of the top different form the CJ-5 in that it was longer and included the auxiliary side windows. I’ll feature a brochure about it on Sunday morning.
