UPDATE: Price dropped to $5200.
Looks in pretty good shape. The cargo bed looks a little rough.

“Super Rare, Jeep CJ-6 with strong running F-134 Four Cylinder Hurricane Engine that looks and runs like it’s been rebuilt. Smooth Shifting 3 Speed Manual Transmission. Rare 60/40 Split Folding Bench Seat up Front, also includes Factory Rear Passenger Bench Seat.
4×4 Works Perfectly, EZ lock hubs, all gauges and lights work as they should. Recent brakes all around, freshly tuned and ready to go! Brand New old school Firestone Knobby Tires and Brand new original style Steel rims, period correct! New Carb, New Fuel Tank and sending unit, also includes original Carter YF Carb. New Bimini Top still in box Included just not installed yet. Also includes an original dash board that is uncut. There is zero rust or cancer on this almost 60 year old gem! This is a great running 100% Original CJ6, same as a CJ5 but they extended it 20 inches at the factory. Pre-cursor to the 70’s scrambler… Gives it a much smoother ride and allows more cargo capacity. Perfect Candidate for a full restoration, or just drive it and enjoy it like it is. Gets thumbs up and smiles everywhere it goes!
Daily driver, never gets hot, starts every time, turn the key and go! Currently registered until December 2016, Pink in my name!
Please no scammers, low ballers, or CL time wasters! Make me a reasonable offer the worst I’ll say is no thanks.”
Love how people use the rare word. It may not be common, but rare to me is like only 50 ever made or a couple left in existence.
Wow, I just sold this thing. Bummer – I had other offers from guys who really wanted a mostly-original CJ-6. Would’ve rather let it go to somebody who would’ve cherished it, but it’s a clean, good-running CJ. Hopefully it’ll land in a good caretaker’s hands and serve somebody well for years to come.
I’m confused, was Christian the seller, or did he sell it to someone who is selling it again.
I think Christian just sold it to the guy who is re-selling it now. That’s how I read it.
Yeah, Mitch – you got it. Sorry for the a confusing post. I sold it and then the guy who bought it turned right around and tried to resell it.
It’s nice clean one for sure.
Christian,
I have a few questions on this jeep as you used to own it. Dave can give you my e-mail( thanks :-)) I am looking for another running, complete CJ-6 as I have no time to finish the one I have now….
Have a 1965 cj-6 super clean with original 6400 miles four ton pto witch new brakes and inspection sticker.
Roland,
If you’d like to list your CJ-6, send some pics and a little more info to d@ewillys.com
