The spare tire mount is on the left (driver’s) side. The only Jeeps I know of similar vintage with this lefty set up are some of the 1948 CJ2As.
That could well be a ’48 CJ-2A body from which the bow holders on the passenger side have been removed. Or, it’s a CJ-3A body that, for some reason, the owner decided to mount the tire on the driver’s side. Maybe the seller can explain why.
