UPDATE: Still Available.
(12/29/2015) It’s a project.
“1942 Willys Jeep
I bought this jeep with the hopes of doing a full restoration. Do to traveling for work, I just didn’t have time to begin. The Jeep ran fine when I purchased it.
I pulled the motor, tranny and transfer case to have redone and never got around to begin the restoration process. The body is straight with very little rust.
Moving out of state and need to move this piece of history! ”
Joe in Mesa needs another project…. 🙂
Jim,
One more wife and Joe will have one less wife 🙂
BTW … we will be down in Tucson somewhere around the 16th or 17th of March. We plan to visit the ASARCO mineral discovery center and take the tour. Will you be around?

I’m getting to this too late, darn it… “This posting has expired.” I haven’t seen that wording on Craigslist. I would have at least encouraged the seller to bring this to our Annual Show… IF I didn’t secretly buy it for myself 😉

Dave,
I wish I would be home in March. Hopefully your next trip thru I can meet you two.
Joe,
If you buy it I will have to stop up and see it when I am home in April….. 🙂
Jim, you can stop by even if I don’t buy this one (unlikely due to the aforementioned wife objection). My ’42 GPW is in pretty great shape these days, and my ’44 MB w CJ Tub is occassionally driveable! I’m in east Mesa and always happy to meet fellow eWillys addicts… er, uh: “ENTHUSIASTS” 🙂
Seriously, email Dave and he can give you my phone/email/address.
