Odd build.
“1955 1.25 ton military Jeep, shortened frame
Willy’s F-134 (70hp), currently torn down in need of a new crankshaft
T-98 4-speed transmission with integral transfer case
PTO winch
Dana 70 rear axel w/ Detroit Locker
Dana 60 front axel
14.9×24 R1 tractor tires”
I’m confused… the only potential CJ5 component listed is the F-134 engine. The rest of it (except the date) sounds like a M-715 “Five Quarter” Vietnam era pickup. It’s definitely not a shortened CJ5!
Gordon,
I believe you are correct. I saw 1.25 and immediately thought 1/4 ton instead of 1 1/4 ton. I’ve updated the post. Thanks for keeping an eye on me. I surely need it 🙂

I do wonder why anyone would put a F-134 in a 5200# vehicle with really tall tires. The stock engine was something like 230ci and 130hp.
