Looks like a great price. The hardtop and plow alone have value.

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I have a vacation home in the area. Unlike years past, there has been no snow deep enough to plow yet. In a typical year, we’d already have had a couple of feet of snow. The owner will probably sell this immediately, however, since there is a forecast for 6-8 inches for later this week.
If this was a CJ-5, wouldn’t it have a tailgate? Maybe the body was replaced or altered.
SUPER GOOD PRICE, worth more. As for the tailgate issue, did away with it on my 66 CJ5 years ago, to me the tailgate is worthless, I assume this Jeep owner thought the same.
It’s got the glove box in the right place to be a CJ-5 body. I’d guess the back was patched.
Will it make a drive to North Jersey?
trying to contact the owner to purchase it now.
And it is a very good year as well!
craigslist posting deleted
First one there with trailer and cash got it no doubt .
I emailed through Craigslist at 6:30 am asking owner to call me.
Got an email reply at 3:30 pm……..Sold
Wish people would always post a phone no. In the add. I always include my number and state in my add, “Calls only”. Email has to many scammers that block the serious buyers.
Thanks for listening……….I feel better now.

Fiberglass body?
Rich I agree,I post phone number and state calls only in my C-list ads.I too have been upset by lack of response on c-list email.

What was the asking price? Looked great.
And was Pascal correct? …it did look like a fiberglass body at the rear.
