“1942 Willys jeep, 4X4, GPW Ford: vin #GPW 15322: research shows approximately 90,000 were built and this is an early model at 15,322. Local San Luis Obispo ranch jeep. Ran 3 years ago, stored since then. Needs total restoration or get running and drive as is. Has clear title and is on Non-OP status. $2,500 firm.”
Not sure what “research” came up with that 90,000 number (or what subset of the 247,000-ish GPWs it pertains to). Good to see this has the dune buggy steering wheel option 🙂
and the diamond plate armor …covering up what’s left of the Ford script rear panel ;-(
Sarcasm aside, I’m more concerned that the tool indents are missing and body work or replacement panels have covered the holes for side handles, top/cover brackets, etc..
