“I have a 55 willys wagon that has a Chevy 350 small block in it. It runs, drives and stops just fine. It doesn’t go over 45 and still has the original drivetrain in it, still needs some work but it is a great rig. I am in no need to get rid of it just seeing what people will offer. I hate sellers this that offer a vehicle with a hidden sales price and state that they are only testing the waters. In most cases, when I’ve talked to people that word their ad this way, I’ve found they either wanted a ridiculous price or they had literally no idea what it was worth and didn’t want to “give it away” by setting too low a price.
This is my willys, and I am asking 4000 for it or trade for a car or truck of same age and condition, I was testing the water out on Montana
Thanks for the update Tim. I can understand Craig’s position from the buyer’s side. At the same time, I can understand how sellers aren’t sure just how their vehicle fits within the market (hence the popularity of auction sites).

“It doesn’t go over 45”? Why not? Is it stuck in low range? This should be able to do 55-60 all day long, especially with the 350 in it. More info, please.
