Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Good photo, knew there was one floating around with a dually Jeep, but had not seen this before.
wonder if he got the dual wheels idea from popular mechanics
Funny what gets your attention sometime. For me it was the word “Please” in the keep out sign. Politeness is gone from our current culture………………………..
Steve .. we are the ‘just do it’ culture. No time for ‘please’ I guess.
Having been fortunate enough to have shared an evening dinner with Roy and Dale at the home of a mutual friend on the eve of their 41st wedding anniversary, my wife and I can assure you that Roy and Dale were genuine people, just as humble and easygoing as any of us. They were most gracious and easy to visit with, not pretentious at all. A true Gentleman and a most lovely Lady. The Queen of the West for sure and the King of the Cowboys, you bet. It was a shame to have lost them both. What an honor it was to have been able to sit and share a meal with them. This was a fairly large dinner party on New Year’s Eve and Roy and Dale thought the mainstream party goers were too noisy, so they asked if they could join us in a more secluded area of the house and it was a wonderful experience to us, to be in their company.
I miss the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum. The moved it from Victorville Ca. to Branson Mo. And now it is closed and being sold and auctioned off. I would never get see everything. And when i went back there would be more on display.
Quote from the Reading Eagle Newspaper in 2010……”The Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum closed in 2009, Nellybelle sold at auction for $116,500 in July 2010.” For the entire news article on-line, see:

Having learned a bit more about Southern California Jeep activities and manufactured accessories, Vic Hickey manufactured not only high compression cylinder heads for the L-134 Go Devil, but he also manufactured aluminum dual wheel adapters that could be used on both front and rear axles and tow bars. Roy was a Jeep guy and probably knew the Jeep after marketers personally in the late 40s and 50s.aybe those rear duals came from Hickey. Sure wish I had been able to spend more time with the King of the Cowboys back in those days.
The dual wheel adaptors on Roys jeep are hickey . The man that bought Nellybelle at auction also got the wheel adaptors. I bought the wheel adaptors from him a few years ago.
I remember seeing the duel wheels, on nellybelle, on the Roy Rodgers show.
