Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “You can plow your drive this winter in style with this jeep. It’s a little crusty around the edges but still keeps on going. I’ve never been able to get her stuck enough that she couldn’t drive out of it. If it doesn’t snow this winter then at least you’ll have a fun mud toy. With a little tlc she’ll keep going for a long time.”
I do believe this little jeep is a 1960 but a couple of things were throwing me off. The battery box lid is supposed to be there until the end of ’63 so that’s correct. The grill says ’69 and later along with those back up lights. It does have an extremely rare rear seat (if it’s the correct one), and the even more rare swing out rear tire carrier. Those 2 items carry a lot of value with this jeep. Oh why so far away…
