I hope he saved the crate, crate is more valuable than the jeep! I think this is probably another craigslist scam. Maine craigslist, map shows New Brunswick (upper Maine), phone number is Florida land line.
I think they collect phone numbers, to sell to phone solicitors.

Campbellton is very northern New Brunswick Canada, almost on Quebec border. Often they do use Maine C.L. for more exposure. Not saying it is or not a scam, but understand there are huge language differences. Campbellton is very French speaking and also many Canadians are sno-birds with Florida holdings. This year especially their $$$ is really hurting at about 75% US so much better to sell in US market. I’m in Maine and know of no Campbellton, Maine.
