“1943 FORD JEEP. NOT RUNNING. HAS A STUDEBAKER 6 CYLINDER OVERHEAD VALVE ENGINE. HAS A PAIR OF CAMARO FRONT SEATS. SOME RUST. LOOKS LIKE IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL MILITARY SPARE TIRE. GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID IT WAS A 1943. I DON’T HAVE A TITLE. SO IT MAY BE A 1942, 1944 OR 1945. IT IS NOT THE “FORD SCRIPT” JEEP OF 1941. HAS SOME RUST, SEE PICTURES. UP TO 90 DAYS FREE INSIDE STORAGE FOR BUYER”
Too bad there’s no photo of the engine. I’d like to see that.
Wait…now I see the engine, looks like a 6 cylinder to me
Yeah, obviously the seller can count spark plugs. There are 6 and that appears to be a 6 cylinder Stude OHV engine, probably after 1960 but before 1964. The gauges in the dash look like vintage 40s Dodge pickup stuff.
what’s up with the headlights sticking out like that?
Same instruments as our 51 Dodge 1/2 ton Pickup. They must have needed the room behind the grille for the radiator, and put the stock size lights on the outside?? Weird!
