“1961 Willys Jeep CJ3B PROJECT
Jeep was parked at a house that burned the front drivers corner was damaged, the paint, wiring , tire and top were all damaged.

The engine is an “F” Head 134 ci. 4 cylinder – I did a compression test and got 110 psi on all cylinders , I tried to start the engine and the engine has spark but the starter bendix failed, the bendix is available on ebay for about $12, the other problem is the flywheel gear teeth are chewed up ,the gear is flip -able but the engine or transmission needs to be removed to do it.

It has a T-90 3 speed transmission and the M-18 2 speed transfer case all seem fine

The axles are dana 44 rear and dana 27 front with 5:38 gear ratios chrome diff covers and Cutlass front hubs. the brakes are not working as the jeep has sat for 5 years, I found a kit on ebay with all 4 wheel cylinders and a master cylinder for $125

I put a set of white spoke wheels and good 235 tires on it.

It also needs a gas tank, windshield glass ,paint repair, wiring and a grill – it was lost at the house reconstruction there is one on ebay for $250 but I think it can be found cheaper

The fender and hood look like they could be blasted or sanded and reused there are a couple small rust spots at the rear body mounts and the seam at the drivers door, the floors and tool box are good and have a rino lining type sealer on them
the tub and windshield frame should sand out and be ready for paint

It has newer rancho 2″ lift springs

It has a rare 60/40 folding bench seat the corner of the drivers seat is singed

The frame is in excellent condition and has not been modified or booggered up.
