“Classic WWII era Jeep Willys CJ 2A up for sale. This Willys has been highly modified with many modern touches.

Drivetrain: The original 4cyl has been replaced with a 1979 Buick 252CI V6 engine that has a torque grid RV cam with a new Holley 4bl 470CFM Truck Avenger carburetor. This carburetor is made for the high angles involved in off roading. It keeps the engine running even when the Jeep is at the tipping point. Engine is also equipped with a AC compressor converted to an Air compressor with a switch on the dash. Exhaust is true duals with flowmaster mufflers. The transmission is a GM turbo 350 3 speed automatic with a 1500rpm low stall converter. It has a Dana 18 transfer case, the strongest version with full complement roller bearings on the center pin and it has been completely rebuilt.

It is equipped with a Dana 44 rear axle that has 5.38:1 gears and a clutch style locker. The front axle is a open Dana 27 in the same with Warn locking hubs. These super low gears make for easy rock crawling. Also installed in the transfer case is a very rare Warn overdrive. The full time overdrive unit allows you to shift into a 0.75:1 ratio overdrive in the transfer case which effectively reduces the axle ratio from 5.38:1 to 4.0:1 when in high range. With this overdrive unit it makes reaching highway speeds with this jeep actually possible. And the nicest part is when you get to the trail you can shift right back to the low crawler gear.

ALL New, just put $2400 in which includes: replaced braking system including, front and back shoes, brake lines and wheel cylinders. Also NEW fuel lines, master cylinder, bearings, oil seals, warn hubs, hub gaskets, upper and lower king pin bearings

Suspension: The jeep has Rancho 9000 shocks all around with Rancho leaf springs that are a 2.5″ lift over stock with poly bushings installed. Has like new 32″ aggressive mud terrains on 16″ steel black spoke wheels. 5 tires and wheels total with spare. Has power steering with a steering stabilizer. Large 11″ drum brakes all around with power brake booster.

Interior: The stock steering column has been replaced with an 80’s era GM tilt column and Grant GT steering wheel. The transfer case is twin stick floor shifted as well as a third floor shifter for the Warn overdrive. New under dash heater unit. It has reclining bucket Bestop seats in the front with tan waterproof cloth material that very easy to clean. The rear seat is a black vinyl Bestop fold & tumble. Full roll cage with overhead 40 channel Uniden CB radio.

Exterior: Has green metallic paint on the body that is chipping in a few places but no major dents. Flat fenders are painted flat black. Diamond plate rock guards on both rockers. Comes with a full soft top and bikini top. Has rear rubicon rack with two brand new 5 gallon jerry cans from out of state not the crappy California ones. Front bumper is a custom 6″ steel channel piece. Mounted on the front bumper is a new High Lift jack. The bumper also has provisions for an included tow bar.”
