UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $17,000
This is a former Wandering Willys Jeep Club Jeep built in Washington State. It was built by Mike Spencer and Mitch Carter’s cousin Bill. Real nice build for serious off-roading.
This is a very well equipped and off-road capable Jeep. It can be used for extreme off-roading or just touring the back country or desert. Jeep is registered in Washington and has a clean title (in my name). Jeep currently located in East County for the winter.
Engine-2002 Chevy Vortec 4.3L V6, Holley 380 carb with a K&N Filter, Edelbrock manifold, Headers and custom dual exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler. HEI distributor has been recurved and Holley carb has been rejetted, all on dyno. Northern aluminum radiator with aluminum overflow tank and electric cooling fan that can be shut off on dash. Painless Wiring 12 Circuit Fuse Block and all new wiring ran to everything. Optima Yellow Top Battery with custom HD battery cables and military post connectors.
Driveline-T90 3-speed just rebuilt coupled with Dana 18 Transfer Case & Warn Overdrive. (Only problem I have is that the OD jumps out of gear occasionally when accelerating hard. It will probably need to be looked at, if you plan on serious off-roading or hill climbing.) Tom Woods Custom Driveshafts F&R.
Axles-Dana 44 F&R with 4.10 gearing and 30-spline axle shafts. Both have ARB Air Lockers with Air Compressor and Air Accessory Connection fitting installed. ARB Diff Covers installed on both. Warn premium hubs. Chevy Disc Brakes F&R with Dual Master Cylinder.
Suspension-Completely rebuilt with Old Man Emu YJ springs that have greaseable bushings, and OME Sport Shocks. There was an amazing difference in the ride between the stock suspension and what is on this Jeep now. Steering is a GM close-ratio Power Steering unit.
Axles and Suspension work all done professionally by an ARB tech in Washington.
Warn 8,000 lb winch with Smittybilt 10K synthetic winch rope and hook on custom bumper with KC Offroad Lights.
Custom Rear Bumper built to hold bigger off-road tire and gas jerry can. CB antenna mount on top.
Full Custom Roll Cage built and tied to the frame along with nerf bars. Rear Bumper, roll cage and nerf bars all powder coated.
(5) BF Goodrich Mud Terrains, 32X11.50X15 mounted on 15X8 Black Simulated Beadlock Steel Wheels with Gorilla Wheel Locks. Tires are like new!!
Corbeau Baja Wide JP seats and Corbeau Harnesses. All just recently installed!
Interior of Jeep tub completely sanded down and lined with Rhino-like lining! Looks really good!
Large Tool Storage Box mounted on rear of floor. Lockable!
Hi-Lift Extreme 48″ Jack mounted across back of tub and locked to prevent theft. Hi-Lift mechanism cover installed.
Uniden 40-Channel CB Radio mounted in Custom Overhead Aluminum Plate mounted to Roll Cage.
All new gauges and rocker switches installed in dash. Heater and wipers both work!!
LED taillights, backup lights and license plate light.
Bestop Tiger soft top with doors and windows, all in good condition. Bestop Bikini Top currently on Jeep.
Omix fabric Jeep cover with cable lock and steering wheel lock to prevent theft included.
As you can see, this is a very customized Jeep with over $20,000 invested in it. Serious buyers only please. No trades! Cash only!
I also have a 2008 16’X8′ Bulldog Car Hauler trailer that I’ve been using to tow the Jeep around on that can be bought in conjunction with the Jeep if interested. Trailer is in good shape, has 10K axles, new spare tire and LED lights. Please ask for more details. Brand new it costs $2,595, will sell for $1,900. Washington Title in hand.
It still is owned by Mike. He’s retired and traveling and just not using the Jeep except to drive around the RV park.
Thanks Mitch. I’ve updated the post.
