John’s been going through old photos and digitizing them. Each of these includes a jeep somewhere in it. Neat photos. Thanks for sharing!

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I believe that hidden behind the Mitsubishi CJ3B-J4C in the photo of the DeHavilland Otter on the runway, is a Willys Cargo-Personnel Carrier. You don’t see many photos of these — I just posted a couple in the latest set of Vietnam photos on The CJ3B Page, at http://cj3b.info/Military/VietnamStreets2.html
Derek
There were Mitsubishi military CJ3B jeeps and French Hotchkiss (spelling I’m not sure) jeeps which were clones of the WWII MB there. Also some Indian Manhindra’s and the Aussies had Landrovers and somewhere in my pictures an Austin (I guess it was the Aussie’s). We had M38s (very early advisors) M38A1s at the navy port I saw my 1st sighting of a Mighty Mite and we of course had variations of the M151. Then there were contractors with all of the civilian jeeps.
Just a followup to the 1963 photos I sent Dave. I went back to Vietnam last April, 50.5 years since I left. M151’s in Hanoi, Hue, Danang and Saigon. And probably elsewhere. In Danang and Hue http://lookingglassjeeptours.com/vietnam/tours
has a variety of JEEP TOURS using M151s. There are others. Along with this they are rebuilding them for replacements.
All I can say is WHAT A CHANGE!!!
Lotsa young people, construction, new high rise buildings, bridges, tunnels, tourist from Russia in Nha Trang, and name brand resorts building on various beaches. The people were great. Population went from 33 mil to 91 mil in country.
GO if you can!!!
Remarkable pictures! I love seeing pictures from the 50s and 60s like this. My favorite decades to study. Thank you!
Derek: Good eye! I can’t imagine what else it would be. It has the right front.
Great photos, thank you for sharing!!
Keep posting Dad! Yours will be on here someday!
