Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Comes with ford gpw frame”… Does the seller mean an extra frame?. This appears to be restorable …despite the horribly upturned front frame horns and bumper. If I were still back in NJ and wanted to make an offer, I’d ensure that engine, trans and t-case turn freely, then start counting/inventorying F-script bolt heads and parts.
This looks like one of Diamond Jim’s RARE FINDS, always had an abundance of military surplus for sale; just don’t ever ask him how he got it. NJ Tpke. just past Cherry Hill.
This is definitely Jim. I see his shop in the background of the photos.
The actual listing says…. “1942 gpw ford script, rare, all ford engine/t84 trans/tc,comes with another ford gpw frame, has good title, not numbers matching”
Seems like Jim doesn’t realize GPW frames have the serial number stamped into them….you really can’t swamp them like MB’s. I wonder which frame the title matches??
I’ve repaired GPW frames before – you just have to preserve the area where the serial number is stamped. MD Juan makes nice front replacement frame horns for GPWs and the weld in nicely at the front cross member.
If you have some GPW running gear laying around you could buy this and get two for the price of one.

Diamond Jim is still at it, make him an offer he can’t refuse.
Will “Diamond Jim” ever sell this at his price? Check back in 6 months, it will still be here.
