I called this guy and was about to go look at it until I bought a different Willys. Yes, it is from California. I don’t remember everything he told me but the key issues for me had to do with getting inspection in Virginia: it doesn’t have a horn, windshield wipers, or emergency brake.
And that funny looking thing on top of the diamond plate roof is the spare tire holder.
