Way overpriced with that repop body. This would work for a modified or trail jeep. Save the original ones

I am not the owner of this jeep but am friends with him. It is a nice jeep. Chris soemtimes the only way to save a jeep is to use a repop body. The body on this jeep is very nice. Would make a good m606 repop. Come to New England and try to find a non-rotted out jeep.

Hi Bill, I’m sure it’s a nice jeep. I’m not disputing that. I agree with getting jeeps on the road and understand that sometimes one must use new parts to make that happen. I’m a very original type of jeep guy and enjoy correct and original jeeps. I’ve run across a lot of people that cut up great bodies to turn them into rock crawlers, mud boggers, hugely modified, stretched, shortened, and then some. I’d like to see those saved and repop bodied used for that purpose. I also want to help educate potential buyers about repops. People buy these for fun but some buy as an investment and the original bodies will hold more value. I would not like to see original bodies that have been all “bubbafied” either. I’ve bought and sold over 35 jeeps with a lot of them being cj3bs so they are near and dear to me. I am more anal on those. I wish your friend luck and feel free to contact me for any help or questions
