UPDATE: Was listed in Hobe Sound. Was $4000.
Listed as a 1948, it’s a 2WD DJ-3A. It looks like the steps might have been altered slightly.
“1948 Jeep Willys. Great condition for it’s age. Has the usual body requirements but in excellent shape for restoration all around. Has clean title on hand and runs. Great car for getting to the beach or around town.”
Sent the seller an email through craigslist. The Jeep is in south Florida. I hope to hear back from the seller.
Caution Colin. This DJ was sold for $3000 just a couple months ago in WPB.
Jim,
Good catch. It’s the same jeep as this one from 2014: http://www.ewillys.com/2014/01/07/1958-dj-3a-north-palm-beach-fl-3250/

I wasn’t interested in buying it, but really wanted to get the serial number off it to add to my DJ3A serial number database, and to figure out what year it was. Never did hear back from the seller. Looks like it has the old “8” speedometer, so might be a late 1957.
Geez, this thing looks like krab compares to when it was first listed, FOR $3200. I’ll give him 2500 but that’s about the limit.
Jim
Hey all. Does anyone have this gentleman’s number? I’d like to contact him.
Thanks. Jim
