This Jeepster is actually a very early 1949 VJ3-6 Jeepster, number 42 of the VJ3-6 production. It was for sale advertised as a 1949 in November, 2009 in Los Angeles, then in Las Vegas as a 1949 in May, 2015, now in Sarasota, Florida as a 1950. The paint is not original as it is the wrong shade and normally, Jeepsters did not have the fenders painted black. This may not have been sold until 1950, but it is an early 49 model. I have had it in my database of Jeepster serial numbers since 2009.
