New Parts: all Brake shoes, master cylinder, all wheel cylinders, all brake springs and hardware, front brake lines, all new tie rod ends, new steering dampner, 4 new shocks, new turn signal system, new light bulbs and covers, new starter, new fuel pump, 4 new tires, new battery, new fuel sending unit and fuel (filter) sock (sending unit needs to be wired to the fuel gauge). New oil pressure gauge, new water temperature gauge, tune up within the last three months. All lights work, wipers work, turn signals work. New front turn signal assemblies. Issues:
Body has rust and needs attention. Needs door seals and guides. There are holes in the floor. My plan was to patch with aluminum flashing and Rhino coat the entire interior. (most cost effective). Speedometer does not work (needs new speedo cable which I have just needs to be installed). Valve cover gasket needs to be replaced however no other oil leaks. Oil and filter changed 4 weeks ago. I drive 8 miles a day 5 days a week. The previous owner patched the roof and will need to be addressed to repair correctly.
There is a periodic belt squeal ( Needs new
fan belt ) Drives on the right side. The drivers seat is worn and needs attention. I drive the jeep everyday fun to drive.
I can provide the company that sells all postal jeep parts for this and other model postal jeeps. You can get an antique plate which is very inexpensive. Interested serious parties only. Please email me your contact number and I will call you quickly. Thanks”
