UPDATE: Price dropped to $2100
(04/27/2015) “This is a Frankenstein 1954 Jeep Willys CJ3B. It is the high hood flat fender Jeep. It has a Chevy 4.3 Vortec TBI engine and Turbo 400 automatic transmission. It has low and high 4wd on Dana 44s and sits on a 2.5 inch lift and 32×11.5×15 BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires with good tread. It has an Air Compressor rigged to the Air Conditioning compressor. WARN locking front hubs. It HAD an ARB Air Locking Hub system but I could never get it to work. The engine just stopped running on me and I am done trying to rig this back together. I think it is electrical because I can start it with direct fuel. The Jeep needs substantial body and floor board work. It is currently registered and insured.”
Anything strapped to the top of a jeep gives it a cool vibe… well almost anything.
Seems like a good price for trail jeep.
Seems like a good price for the amount of work put into it.
I can only say beware of vehicles near salt water . It’s not just exposure to the water or the sand the air causes quite a lot of corrosion.
I experienced very poor interaction with this guy. When he finally got back to me, I had him take several more picks. The floor boards are literally NON-existent. As in, you are looking at the pavement beneath your feet. This Jeep was “updated” while in the Bahamas (more rain that even SC) and has a completely hacked wiring harness. In fact the interior shots showed most of the harness splayed all over and out of the dash holes. You have to really want a project to take this headache over. Buyer be VERY aware.
Thanks for the report!
