Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Original paint on body and wheels, and rear PTO as well. I’ll take it… as soon as it is reasonably priced.
I’ve seen now pics on this jeep. It’s one great example of a 2a. It has a governor, rear pto, solid disk wheels and more. I question the original pasture green paint due to there being no stencil on the tailgate. Nice patina though. Sure is spendy but it has to one of the nicest ones around
I also love the patina of this jeep but sure hate to see the snaps for the vinyl top mounted on the tub. That kind of ruins it for me.
What would “reasonably priced” be for something like this be? I know it varies depending on location, etc, and the real price is whatever someone is willing to pay, but my thinking is a little bit skewed being on the east coast and having to figure travel and/or shipping into just about everything I see here…
(in the process of educating myself prior to seriously looking, so even ranges of pricing would help…)
TIA
Value is hard on this one. I’ve seen the hat channels and the floors. Everything is nice. Things like the rear pto (especially the shield ), governor, rear seat, being a column shift, and being a vec puts this in a higher category. This would sell quick at $8000. $12k gets closer to restored jeeps. But there is a rear for every seat. Also, all the mechanicals on this have been rebuilt. Lots of value.
Thanks, Chris… That helps. I get that the uniqueness and options set it apart. Exactly the reason for the question, as there just aren’t that many comparable listings to gage against. If 8k would be fast, I’m sensing a little north or south of 10 might be fair, and asking 12 is maybe gamesmanship.
Either way I be fighting myself not to leave it just the way it sits…
Thanks again-
A person looking for a VEC can’t do much better than this at this price. This can been driven while restoring parts while in use.
I don’t think this one still wears it’s original paint…. you can see the current color in places it shouldn’t be. The wheels are missing their stripes, leading me to believe these are repainted too. No stencils on tailgates this early… so that is correct.
I still like it, it’s a cool Jeep.
