Thanks to Charles for sharing jeep pics from some movies. I don’t have time to figure out which pics belong to which movie, since Ann and I are going to enjoy an evening together.

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

first pic shows jeep with no motor/grill/radiator…i saw another movie where they blew up the ‘shell’ of a jeep…as it flew off the bridge, you could see the empty motor bay…
Looks like most of them are from the movie ” Patton”
Patton—- gets my vote—-the 4th picture down– not a expert, but that looks like a cj3B– the hoods appears to be a lot higher then what is on the fender- among other differences ,I remember that scene and always thought the jeep was a 3b , but it went by very fast– looking at the head lights, appears the hood is higher then the other jeep with extra metal on top of the slants — but claim only very basic knowledge , so feel free to correct me
They are ALL from Patton. This is one of my favorite films, having viewed
it over 20 times. The pictures are not posted in order of the movie, but here are the
scenes : pictures 1 – 3 ” Sicily Invasion ” – this is when Omar Bradley’s jeep is blown
up while taking cover. 4 ” Patton’s arrival in Europe ” – his arrival at Bradley’s
command trailer just prior to receiving command of the 3rd. Army !
5 – part way along the Sicily attack. 6 – 10 are in the very opening minutes
of the movie , after the famous speech and opening titles. Here Bradley’s group
arrives in Tunisia to access the casualties of the Kasserine Pass battle. Picture 11
jumps back to Sicily. This scene features the jeep bouncing like crazy over ruts, as Monty is
informed that Patton has taken Palermo. This film is a must watch classic. ” Cheers ! “
Great movie, but….another case of Hollywood and their poor technical vehicle data. Ah, to be a kid again and just enjoy the film w/o knowing the incorrect vehicles and armament! Look at ‘Tora, Tora, Tora’ or any Pearl Harbor movie, ALL the jeeps are wrong. Only correct ones would be MA’s, GP’s, BRC’s or ‘slatgrill’ MB’s. I know, I know you’re thinking…they didn’t have CGI at the time…but there was more surplus available…
The movie in harms way depicted the attack on pearl harbor and and had m151 mutts for jeeps. was a great movie though.
i love the movie patton but yea the jeeps are all wrong. the one in the pictures with the mb grill was actually a cj2a.
Whoa…this comment section is turning into a ‘craigslist’! Just to be clear…are there 3 Craig’s here, or only 2? I’m the 5th comment…Craig in Maine.
There are a lot of Craig’s. If you want to be singled out, you may want to add a state or city to your screen name, like I do and Craig/Vermont does.
As a David, I can relate 🙂
