“The front frame forks have been reinforced with square tubing to strengthen the front end for a tow bar and electric winch. The frame is clean: no rust. The body is an after market M-38 with CJ-3A windshield and a wide mouth military 10 gal. gas tank. The radiator is 4 core and coolant serves an under dash heater with a 2 speed blower. The thermostat is 180 degree. In hot weather, the temperature will run 180 to 190. In extremely hot weather it will get up to 210 degrees.

The steering gear and column has been completely rebuilt with all new parts. All the tie rod ends are new as are the bushings for the bell crank. The L-head engine was rebuilt and has about 1,000 miles on it. The crankshaft is .010 under and the cylinders have been sleeved back to stock. The engine has been balanced and has a new clutch and pressure plate. The engine was rebuilt by Statewide 4X4. The electrical system is 12 volt with new alternator and a rebuilt 12 volt starter. There are power receptacles for cell phone charging and GPS. The battery is about 1 year old. The front and rear differential along with the transmission and transfer case were rebuilt by Fort Collins 4X4 in the late 80’s. The Jeep has 13,880 miles on it. Most of the miles are tow miles.

The transmission is 3 speed with overdrive. The rear brakes are new with new wheel cylinders and axle bearings. The front brakes are new with new wheel cylinders, wheel bearings, seals and reconditioned axles. The Jeep has 2 tops. A full K-line top and a bikini top. There is also a 4 point roll bar. The rear mounted spare tire has never been used. There is also a rear mounted 5 gal. gas can and tool bar. The tires are 6.00 X 16. All 4 tires have a lot of ware left but they are old; like1992 old. I would strongly recommend that they be replaced. The body has some surface rust in a couple of spots and it will drip a couple drops of fluid after being driven, especially in very high temperatures. This Jeep was built to have fun with. If you buy it, have fun with it.”
