“A Full Parade Quality restoration. 65 CJ3B. Rebuilt “F-Head” drivetrain. New steel body with firecracker red paint inside and out and top and bottom! New suspension and rebuilt chassis. All systems are brand new! All upgrades such as electronic ignition and alternator etc. have also been added. If you are a serious buyer, you must see this one! .”
Shows nice but for $20,000 this jeep should be perfect. Unfortunately it will always be considered having a repop body, not desired by collectors. Needs to have oil bath air filter, fan shroud, proper seat covers, info tag on dash, proper hall style tail lights, the correct stencil on tailgate (this one is too early), should have spare tire installed. By 65, the willys branding was dropped. No wiper hardware installed on windshield frame. Needs proper hood blocks. Would have been nice to see upright bow supports on tub too. It would be nice to see more of the dash. I like the wheel color and tires.
Chris, you hit this one right on the head, it’s nice, but too many things wrong to make it a $20,000 vehicle.
in my book – new body means no interest, at almost any price.
at 20, this guys dreaming.
Repop body or not, there is significant value here. And the immaculate lawn (no weeds) shows off some serious attention to detail skills… just saying. This may not be for the CJ3B purist, but for anyone else: a nice ride!
Dream on…it’s not worth that kind of money! Ah, but did you see where it’s listed… Cape Cod…guess that explains it…the ‘beautiful people’ playground.
