UPDATE: Was $11,000. **Status Unknown**
Has an updated motor.
“1945 Willys MB Jeep and matching 1945 Bantam trailer. It runs and starts great and I have driven it over 40 miles at a time with no issues. I have a clean title for the jeep but not for the trailer.
The jeep has a newer overhead 4 cyl (3 speed) and hood has been modified to fit over it. I have another original flat hood that hasn’t been cut if you want to make it stock (with a couple changes to the engine). The rest of the tub is in great shape and it has newer brakes, lines, pads, springs, ect. It also has 2 combat style rims installed but I have 4 additional ones (very hard to find) if you want to paint and install on the jeep and trailer.
I have many parts that I have picked up over the years which took a lot of time and money to collect. The parts included that have not been installed are as follows:
– 4 combat rims which need to be sandblasted and painted
– 4 new tires that are period correct
– original hood
– all new canvas (still in the box) including 2 front seats, canopy top, and rear seat, headlight covers, etc.
– 2 original seat frames (do not have the rear seat frame)
– New Roof bow including all brackets
– Original first aid kit and fire extinguisher
– Original horn, Fuel filter, tire pump
– Many other smaller items
The 1945 Bantam trailer has been completely taken apart and rebuilt as of the beginning of 2015. The tailgate has been modified so that it will open. It has been converted to 12 volt but everything else is original and looks great. I have a set of original lights if you would like to replace the newer ones now on the trailer. You can use either the interchangeable pintle hitch or regular style trailer ball type. ”
Hey there,
Would you be interested in selling the trailer or some parts only?…My dad and I have a 45 mb and are looking to work on it a bit. Id thought Id check with you before we order the canvas top and bars…. thanks, ken
Hi Ken,
I haven’t seen this relisted recently. I’ve updated the post. If I see it reposted on Craigslist I will drop you note.
