This has a fiberglass body. It’s got the wide rim around the back, but isn’t a Parkette or Bobcat. Must have been an eastern make of some kind?

“I have just posted this 1947 Willys jeep on an ebay auction. Vehicle can be seen is in Sault Sainte Marie where it is located. The reserve price is low and the Auction ends Tuesday, August 18.

I have owned this Willys since I was in high school in the early 70s. Almost all of the work was done then. I last licensed it in 1990. I have not driven it since about 1995. It has a new battery and the engine is free and turns over with spark. I am still trying to start it. There is also a problem with the clutch which I am also trying to diagnose and fix.

The work I did back in the 70s was pre Internet and most of the replacement parts are from the Sears Jeep Catalog. The body work on the front is all original parts. The frame is in very good shape. The windshield is from a later model Jeep. The tub is a fiberglass replacement with the original dashboard added.”
