Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Dave I look forward to looking at this every morning. I am continuously amazed that you do this for others when sometimes it would be easier to nurse a cold, or stay in bed, or do some other important chore. You should take more time off with this thing or it will burn you out. You dont win and we dont win if that happens. So from just one of what must be many many folks, thanks for taking the time to host this site, and dont feel bad about taking more time off. We’ll starve in the meantime, but we’ll live.

Wooohoooo!!!
Good for you to take some time off. I would say I hope you get to go out and drive your Jeep but I know your still working on it π I will take mine out for a drive this weekend just for you π
Enjoy your time off and thanks again for the fresh made bread. It was great with a bit of butter and grilled on the BBQ π
I suggest steak & eggs for breakfast Sunday morning.
I concur with Lew
It’s only mid day sunday, and I’m jonesin’…
(but I get having to get away from the kids for awhile π )
Thanks guys. I did have a couple days of relaxation. I even avoided email for two days!
I can keep doing eWillys on a daily basis most days because it fits into my lifestyle. It also gives me something to do while watching TV or sporting events with Ann and her mother. And, I’ve gotten much better about scheduling posts of all kinds ahead of time so I can take a day off without anyone noticing.
We are only three years away from the 10th anniversary of eWillys. I should have my next two books (the Eilers book and October Gold) completed by then and I will have accomplished what I have set out to do as a writer: Writing multiple books and creating the family book. If I can’t generate more interest in my books by that time, then I might consider doing something else besides writing as a livelihood.
Oh, I may have one additional writing project: the history of the Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association. I’ve now been approached by multiple people about the project. That project is of interest to me, but I haven’t figured out how I’d structure the narrative to tell the story. It’s still a few years out . . .
