(01/04/2014) This has some tool indents. It could be a VEC. It doesn’t run, but does have a rebuilt engine.

looks like a solid California Willys. That is a really good price, especially if the rebuilt engine can be documented. Guys are spending over 2K to rebuild flatheads these days.

A couple wrong numbers on the pink slip can certainly turn a potential buyer away
I think you are correct on the VEC ID. It has a full floating rear axle, judging from the photos.
