Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This might be one of the rare Travellers. Looks like that might be a rusted spare tire carrier on the roof. Windows are definitely Parkway/Traveller ones cut into a panel body with the rounded rear fenders.
Yup Ed’s right. Looks like a Traveller to me.
I can’t get over the mountains to look at it this week. If it proves to be a Traveller, I bet it goes quickly.
I am hopping to check it out tomorrow morning. Just waiting to hear back from he poster. Told him I would take it if I could get it on a trailer.
I went and looked at the wagon today. It is not a traveler. It has a delivery dash plaque and the fender wells are not cut.
Jim was it in decant shape. Even though its not a Traveler is it worth picking up. Or are you going to get it.
Wayne the only thing that I wanted off the wagon would be the tire carrier and it’s a little rough. Where do you live? I told Dan in CA that I would get the tire carrier for him if he wanted it. Do you have a traveler? I have 2 and I am looking for some original rear seats, if you might know where I can find some.
I dont have a traveler, I have a few panels thought and this would fit right in. I have a 47 Panel and a 51 and would love to have a workable parkway. this one will be for my wife, but if she dose not like the roof rack I would be willing to pass it on. how is the body and frame on it. and did you find out what V8 is in it.
Jim I am in Skagit county. the Bow area.
Hi it’s Dan in California. I’d love the roof rack when he dust settles and it’s available. Like Jim, I’m looking for the rear Traveller seats too.
Wayne
If you buy it Dan from CA wants the roof rack. He said it had a 289 v8. The body is really rough, all the front floor boards are gone. The frame looked ok, but there will be a lot of metal work on this one.
Jim
Thanks Jim its worth a look. I may have to save it. When I talked to him last night he said he was moving in a few weeks and if it don’t sell its going for scrap. Not sure I can let that happen.
I own a 1966 Jeep JP 4 wheel drive 200ft PTO Winch Buick V-6. I have only seen two in my life a friends dad had one in the 70s was stolen & Ronald Reagan did a interview with Barbra Walters he owned one said it was his favorite ride they went on a ride shooting the interview in the JP. I can’t find the Jeep JP ? Anyone ?
Hi Doyle,
I am not familiar with a 1966 Jeep JP, but maybe someone else is? Kaiser Jeep wasn’t shy about doing small runs of specialized vehicles, which is part of the fun of jeep history :-). Could you send me pics of your jeep and I’d be happy to share them with readers: d@ewillys.com.
Thanks,
– Dave
Well I looked at this today, and picked it up for parts. Got it for $300.00.
Frame looked good from where I could see it. Complete running gear (Looked to be a 44/25 or 35. Barn doors were OK for an extra set, miscellaneous hardware. Has a Ford 289 in it that was (according to them) running a few months ago. Both rounded rear fenders were in ok shape and can be used for patch panels. In side tubs were good grill looked ok. IMO not much more then that is worth saving. So for the price I will save and use what I can. All in all not a bad day.
Oh and Dan (Scramboleer) from California has first dibs on the Roof Tire Rack.
Hi Wayne,
Thanks (and no rush). Just sent you a PM via OWF.
Cheers!
I am glad its going to a good home and not the scrap yard.
Jim
Dan got your PM, We will work something out, Thanks Jim.
I will keep a watch out for the seats for you two. I am looking for a set or two of (Jeep Delivery) hood emblems if any one comes across a set or two.
I just could not live with my self if it went to scrap. She will live on helping other Willys get back on there feet.
Wayne
Are you interested in selling a couple parts of the wagon. I would be interested in the radio and glove box cover and that third foot pedal on the left.
Thanks
Jim
Jim I am sure we can work out something for for stuff I wont need. I have this one and a 49 Wagon being delivered this weekend. Both are in the same shape and will be for parts only. Its going to take me a bit to get it all sorted out.
Thanks Wayne. It sounds like you have the same jeep problem that I do.
Jim
(Jim) LOL Yep trying to stay off CL for a while so I don’t pick up another. I just cant stand to hear about someone crushing one there is always usable parts. I will save what I can and pass on what I cant use in hopes of helping keep as many on the road as I can.
